Story Time

Join us every week for Story Time! We will meet outside in the Barton Community Giving Garden as long as weather permits. We are purchasing a canopy to let us enjoy our time together even if the weather is not perfect. Check our Facebook page for updates or sign up for email alerts at bartonkidsread@gmail.com.

Meet us for Toddler Time at 10:30 to meet new friends, listen to a story and have fun with finger plays. crafts. and songs!  Bronwyn Hale from Early Head Start will join us every other week starting September 22nd at 10:30. Please invite your friends!

Now that so many of our friends are off to preschool, kindergarten and first grade we will have a Stories and More on Wednesdays at 3:30 for 3-6 year olds. Younger and older siblings are always welcome too! These will also be held at the Barton Community Giving Garden.

With the future for inside Story Times uncertain, we are looking at some other options including individual family story times, take home books and activities, and virtual story telling. We hope we can meet inside this late fall and winter but will plan these activities for families who many prefer to remain away from groups at this time. Remember the library is open for browsing so bring your children in to find some great books to borrow.
